Our Story

Old Soul Botanicals began with Ann Marie’s love of flowers and years of gardening and tending the land. Ann Marie studied plant and soil science at West Virginia University and went on to become a Registered Nurse. Ann Marie’s passion for herbalism and gardening aligned with her interest in helping others is how Old Soul Botanicals was born. Ann Marie raised her three children in the rural Catskills; the youngest of whom is joining her on this Botanicals journey. zaybra grew up barefoot in the garden next to their mother, snacking on string beans and occasionally pulling weeds. zaybra received a BFA in Dance and comes to their herbal practice with a somatic lens.  Ann Marie and zaybra experience healing, wholeness, and fulfillment from working together and sharing the plants they love with others.
